THE NEW APARTMENT

 
 We went to see how the apartment is coming along.  The windows have been put in, tile has been put on the walls in the halls.  The walls in the apartment have been plastered. There is still a lot of work to do and they won't be able to move until next year around this time.

There apartment is on the 11th floor. Of course, today, the elevator was not working and we had to walk up all 11 floors.










They have a very nice living room that will have sliding glass doors that open out onto a balcony over looking the Yangtze River. There will be a kitchen with a small balcony off of it, dining room, master bedroom, 2 other bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.












This will be the master bedroom.

They will get to choose all  their floor and wall coverings.
















They still do things the old fashioned way.  Mixing it all by hand and carrying 2 buckets with cement, one on each side of a pole carried across their shoulders.
