NATIONAL DAY

Last night we went to the Heart to Heart Plaza.  It was a beautiful warm evening. We met some of Christina's family there.  We had grilled fish......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

On this day in 1949 Mao Tse-Tung Dynasty formed the Peoples Republic of China. This is a mini holiday for a lot of people who will get 3 or more days off.  CJ, Christina, her parents and I all went out to do some shopping.  Because it was a holiday there were so many more people in the streets. There were extra vendors along the sidewalks and they raise their prices too.
     This is a picture of  a 1000 year old building from the Tang Dynasty.

  We had to stop and pick up things for the wedding  After that bunch of Christina's family came over and they all sit around and blow up balloons to decorate the apartment with.
